Sarah Ruth Robinson Kinsaul, age 91 of Rincon, GA, passed away Saturday, July 22, 2017. Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm Tuesday, July 25th in the chapel at Belk Funeral Home, with burial following in Darlington Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 1-2 pm Tuesday at the funeral home.
Born August 4, 1925 in Milstead, GA, Sarah is the daughter of the late James Elton Robinson and Lizzie Lee Rooks Robinson. She worked as an operator at Southern Bell for many years, and was a member of Central Baptist Church in Darlington for over 50 years. After the death of her husband, she moved to Rincon Georgia in 2010, where she attended Rincon First Baptist Church.
She is survived by her son, James "Jimmy" R. (Karen) Kinsaul, Jr. of Rincon, GA; her daughter, Jan (John) Scanlon of Carolina Beach, NC; her grandchildren, Kimberly Kinsaul (Gary Tootle), and Robin Scanlon (David) Swann; her great-grandchildren, Ethan Tootle, Colt Tootle, Kimber Tootle, and Sierra Swann; her sister, Ailene Moffett of Tennessee.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James R. Kinsaul; her brothers, Luke Robinson, James Robinson, Glenn Robinson; and her sister, Annette Owens Swann.
Memorials may be made to Central Baptist Church in Darlington, 512 Spring St. Darlington, SC 29532; or to Rincon First Baptist Church, 201 E 6th St. Rincon, GA 31326.
