Rodney Dease Obituary
Rodney W. Dease, Sr., age 54, passed away Friday, January 25, 2019 in Lexington, SC. Funeral services will be held 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 29 in the chapel at Belk Funeral Home, with burial following in Temple Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2-3 Tuesday at the funeral home.
Born July 25, 1964 in Tucson Arizona, Rodney is the son of the late Mack E. Dease and Connie Wagoner Dease; but was lovingly raised by Sammy and Jane Dease Nance. He graduated from St. Johns High School and worked as an assistant roller for CMC in Cayce, SC. Rodney was a true "southern man" who loved his Clemson Tigers and music.
In addition to his parents, Sammy and Jane Nance, Rodney is survived by his son, Rodney "Rod" (Brandi) Dease, Jr.; daughters, Reba Dease and Regan Dease, all of Darlington; grandchildren, Joey Atkinson, McKinley Atkinson, and Jaxson Dease; his sister, Kathy N. Nephew of Darlington; the mother of his children, Debbie Hight Dease; brother, Johnny (Angie) Dease of Darlington; his fiancé, Rhonda Dull Skinner, and her children, Brooke and Rachell Skinner, all of Lexington; and a special aunt, Judi McKenzie of Graniteville, SC.
