DARLINGTON- Eula Mae Odom Streett, age 90, died Friday, May 14, 2010 in a local hospital. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, May 17 at Southside Free Will Baptist Church, with burial following in Grove Hill Cemetery, directed by Belk Funeral Home.
Born February 7, 1920 in Darlington County, she was a daughter of the late Raleigh Odom and Corria King Odom. She retired from Sherman Manufacturing after 30 years of employment. Eula Mae enjoyed crossword puzzles, playing BINGO, UNO and board games. She was faithful in reading her Bible in its entirety throughout the year. Mrs. Streett was a member of Southside Free Will Baptist Church.
Surviving are two granddaughters, Andrea Elaine Streett of Myrtle Beach, Anissa Streett (Kenneth) Gulledge of Hartsville, nine great-grandchildren, three sisters: Louise Davis of Darlington, Verlee Lambert of Hartsville and Corria "Bunk" Odom of Darlington. Also surviving are a special niece, Faye (Alan) Streett of Darlington and several other nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a son, Raleigh Walter "R.W." Streett, brothers, RG Odom, Willie Odom and sisters, Elmer Dewitt, Marlene Melton and Inez Streett.
The family will receive friends from 5-7 Sunday evening at Belk Funeral Home.
