Marion Hamilton Brown, age 89, a resident of Oakhaven Nursing Home, died March 2, 2010, in a local hospital. She was born February 23, 1921 in Dillon County, daughter of the late Marvin and Flora Phillips Hamilton. She is survived by many nieces and nephews and was the sister of the late Jo Hamilton.

Services have been entrusted to Belk Funeral Home and a memorial service will be held at a later date.

Jessie I am so sorry for the loss of Mrs. Marion. She was a highlight of my day talking to her and hugging her neck every morning. She will truely be missed by me and many of our staff members. But as you told me she is at peace now and in a better place. Hope to see you again and know you are always in my mind.
