George Allen Jeffords, age 58, died Tuesday, February 9, 2010, in a local hospital. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 A.M., Saturday February 13 in Belk Funeral Home Chapel.
Born April 7, 1951, he is the son of Myrtle Lee Parker Jeffords and the late George L. Jeffords. Allen served his country in the US Army and made his living refurbishing and renovating mobile homes. He was a loving grandfather whom enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and coloring with Jayden.
Surviving in addition to his mother is his wife, Linda Weatherford, two sons: Allen (Donna Yarborough) Jeffords, Andy Jeffords; three grandchildren: Austin, Bryanna, Jayden; six brothers:
Billy, Lewis, James, Wendell, Earl, and Todd Jeffords; four sisters: Ruby Jenkins, Faye Strickland, Shelby Jackson, Helen Dean.
The family will receive friends immediately after the service and all other times at the home 404 Kingfisher Dr., Darlington.
