 Darlington- Myrtle Sanders Hildreth, age 82 , died Friday, February 5, 2010, in the McLeod Hospice House. Funeral services will be Sunday, February 7, at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Belk Funeral Home, with interment in Grove Hill Cemetery.

Born October 10, 1927 in Florence County, she is the daughter of the late John C. and Cora Lee Sturgeon Sanders. She was the widow of Odell Hildreth. Myrtle worked at American Can for 35 years and was a member of Temple Free Will Baptist Church.

Surviving are her sister Betty Carnes of Darlington, an aunt: Valerie Sturgeon of Darlington, one niece, two nephews, four great nieces, a great nephew, and a great -great niece.

The family will receive friends Saturday, February 6, 2010 from 5-7 at the funeral home.
