MICHAEL RANDOLPH

- John Michael "Mike" Randolph, age 60, of Florence, died Friday, January 29, 2010.
Graveside funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 2, in Grove Hill Cemetery directed by Belk Funeral Home.
Mr. Randolph was born in Hartsville, son of the late Henry Batchelor and Jo Alice McMillan Randolph. He attended the University of South Carolina for two years and enlisted to serve his country in Viet Nam in 1969 - 1970 with the United States Army. After being discharged from the Army he joined the Navy for seven years. He was employed as a civilian at the Naval Research Lab near Washington, D. C. and afterwards to a defense contract company for many years. Mike was a communicate of the Episcopal church.
Surviving are his wife, Kay Williamson Randolph of the home; four siblings: Lee (Sydney) Randolph of Darlington, Russell Randolph of Nantucket, Massachusetts, Elizabeth R. Brock (Gary) of Ruby and Josey R. Solomon (Paul) of Pawleys Island; also, a nephew, Hank Fletcher Solomon.
The family will receive friends at the home of Lee and Sydney Randolph, 107 Brittain Road, Darlington, SC.
